My research portfolio has two strands that continuously inform each other:
- Methodological biostatistics — Bayesian design and inference, robust empirical-Bayes methods, noninferiority testing, replicability in genome-wide studies, and information-theoretic methods for applied problems.
- Applied collaboration — long-term partnerships across pediatric oncology, spinal cord injury, neuroscience, and public health, where I serve as the primary biostatistician on trial designs, observational studies, and secondary analyses.
